The 3rd annual Read With A Pro Contest is coming soon! This six-week reading contest challenges students in grades 2-5 to achieve personal goals and strive for excellence individually, and as a classroom working as a team to reach a common goal; collectively reading as many books as possible in a six-week period. By reaching this classroom goal, the winners will be awarded with a classroom visit from San Diego starting pitcher Chris Young! Participants can win free movie passes from UltraStar Cinemas & a class trip to see a Padres game at PETCO Park!
The contest will run for six weeks, beginning on Monday, April 7th and concluding on Friday, May 16th, 2008. The classrooms that read the most books will win great prizes! To learn more about involving your classroom in the 2008 San Diego National Bank “Read With A Pro”, please contact
